Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a shifting or deposit of dust of a retainer by fixing pulleys on the both sides of the retainer and connecting both ends of upper and lower conveying faces by means of belts driven by the pulleys.
CONSTITUTION: Side plates 4' are formed on both left and right sides of a retainer. Both ends of each side plate 4' are externally extended from the retainer and pulleys 7 are held at the centers between the side plates 4' by shafts 9, respectively. Both ends of respective upper and lower conveying faces 2, 1 are connected by belts 8 with the pulleys 7 placed at both ends. The retainer contains balls 3 which are put in V-shaped channels of the lower conveying face 1 and the upper conveying face 2. Action speeds of the retainer are controlled to a half of linear bearing speeds by the pulleys and the belts. Because the belts 8 which connect both ends of each of upper and lower conveying faces 2, 1 with the pulleys 7 placed at both ends cover both upper and lower faces of the retainer,the belts serve as dust-proof means.
