Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a vibration of a water wheel and a generation of a noise in case a foreign matter gets in the water wheel by detecting an existence of the foreign matter between guide blades with a foreign matter detector and removing it through operating the guide blades temporarily to an open direction.
CONSTITUTION: In case a foreign matter gets in between guide blades 5, beams of light from luminous sections 6, 8 corresponding to this part are intercepted simultaneously. Thereupon, a light is not detected at light receiving sections 7, 9, and signal points of contact 7b2, 9b2 are simultaneously closed. Then, through operation of an auxiliary relay 10 and a time limit relay 12, the guide blades 5 are controlled to an open direction for a certain period so that a foreign matter between the guide blades 5 may be flown out. A vibration of a water wheel as well as a generation of a noise are thus prevented.
