Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable in-row winding of linear material of any diameter by leading tip of linear material from winding drum to another winding dram and connecting to it after guiding via guide rollers which travel on shafts parallel to shaft of drum against predetermined tension.
CONSTITUTION: Tip of linear material, guided via guide rollers 9, 10, is connected to drum 2 as to engage with inside of one of flanges of the drum 2b. With shafts 7, 8 being declined to right by piston 14, guide rollers 9, 10 are positioned close to flange 2b. When drum 2 starts rotation, the first turn of linear material around drum 2 is in close contact with inner surface of flange 2b, and the second turn, under effect to tension, will contact and in-row with the first turn to constitute in- row winding. During the process, guide rollers 9, 10 moves leftwards in following linear material being wound. Upon completion of the first row, roller quides 9, 10 are declined to left and the second raw is wound from left to right namely, from 2aW2b. Thus, in-row winding of linear material of any diameter is achieved.
