Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the device and to perform desired switching operation suitably, by enabling the switching between recording state and playback state, through the provision of a switch interlocked with the loading of cassette pack between a push button switch and a power supply terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a push button switch PS11 is depressed, the power supply voltage +B is fed via a diode D1, a transistor T3 is on and a relay 5 is on. When a cassette pack is loaded, the voltage +B is fed to T3 via a switch 15, power supply line circuit PL2, switch S13, relay 5 and D2 of keep ON-state of T3, and relays 6 and 7 are in recording state. On the other hand, when PS11 is ON with tape not running, T91 is on via a switch 12, a relay 92 is operated for run switching enabling recording. Further, S13 is off with the operation of FF, REW, and EJC.
