PURPOSE: Titled molding compound, capable of giving a molded product of exceedingly high heat resistance, which comprises a phenol resin and boric acid, its condensate or boron oxide.
CONSTITUTION: A phenol resin molding compound, which comprises (A) a phenol resin and (B) 0.5W20.0wt%, based on (A), of at least one compound selected from boric acid, boric acid condensate and boron oxide.
