Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable horizontal lines and vertical lines to be formed without giving any influence upon oblique line parts by separating a pattern to the horizontal and vertical line parts and the oblique line parts from the connecting relations of runs and sizes and subjecting only the horizontal and vertical line parts to substitution processing. CONSTITUTION:A pattern scanner 1 operates to real linear-sequentially the pattern on paper surface and transmits them to a fine-linearization circuit 2. The circuit 2 successively processes the information of the pattern being transmitted, and transmits the fine-linearized pattern information as binary information successively to a write control circuit 3. The circuit 3 writes the input information in either line or row unit to a memory circuit 4. Next, a read-out control circuit 5 successively reads out the contents of the circuit 4 in a line direction, then reads them out in a row direction and transmits these to a run processing circuit 6. The circuit 6 detects the run from the read-out pattern information, and detects the run connecting to this run thence it compares the length of the detected run with threshold value to decide whether these are to be integrated to one run or not. According to the result of the decision by this circuit 6, the circuit 3 re-writes the information of the line or row processed by the circuit 6 into the circuit 4.
