Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the precision of fitting size of a mount by a method wherein positioning notches of the brackets of each of an engine and a chassis are inserted into positioning projections of dies so that each bracket can be set to the dies and these brackets are bonded by vulcanized rubber. CONSTITUTION:The respective positioning notches 5, 16 for the 1st bracket 10 fixed to the chassis and for the 2nd bracket 20 fixed to an engine are interlocked with positioning projection parts 32, 36 of a lower die 30 and these two brackets are positioned on the lower die 30 and set. Then, rubber material 40' is placed between both brackets 10, 20 and the upper die 35 is allowed to fall down to compress the rubber material 40'. At this time, the positions of the brackets are decided by the step parts 37 of the upper and lower dies 35, 30 in the direction rectangular to the plate surfaces of each bracket 10, 20. Compression and heating are given for a given hour after the fall of the upper die. The rubber material 40' is vulcanized into a rubber member 40 with an intended shape and at the same time is bonded through adhesives coated on each bracket 10, 20.
