PURPOSE:To increase the circuit multiplication factor in a system by which the signal of the maximum voice among the subscribers is sent to other subscribers, by giving a comparison to the level of the voice signals of the subscribers with use of a part of the PCM code. CONSTITUTION:The voice PCM signal of each time slot is stored in the address in the memory 10 that is designated by the counter 30 which produces a sequential address of a specific period, and at the same time stored temporarily in the comparator 60. Such procedure is repeated in the frequencies same as the number of subscribers, and a comparison is carried out when a coincidence is obtained among the voices of all subscribers. In this case, the several higher-rank bits excluding the code bit of the voice PCM of each sample are handled as the binary numbers, and these binary numbers are compared among the simultaneous callers. Then the minimum number is approximated to the maximum level of voice, and the time slot number of the relevant subscriber is stored in the memory 40. The contents of the memory 40 is addressed to read repetitively the contents of the memory 10, and this contents is sent to each subscriber.
