Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare a thick film plate suitable for printing braille points for blind persons exactly and easily, by using a screen made by coating a photosensitive emulsion mixed with a drying accelerator, on both sides of a screen larger in meshes than a usual screen, and drying it in necessary times. CONSTITUTION:Screen 3 of 50-100 meshes is stretched on frame 1, and coating fluid 5 made by mixing a photosensitive diazo emulsion with fuel alcohol or the like as a drying accelerator in 0-15 ratio is coated thickly on both the sides of screen 3. It is coated 2 or 3 times to give a desired thickness, and after coating it is dried with hot air. When thicker coating is desired, the same operation is repeated. An original (block copy) is photographed on film 6, which is sticked on both sides of coat 5, and mirror 7 is closely brought into contact with its reverse side to print the original with chemical lamp 8. It is developed to form through-holes 6'''. Plate 5' thus obtained is overlaid on paper 10, and braille points 9' or the like are formed in high relief on paper 10 by speading a printing ink with fine glass beads contained on plates 5'.
