Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the productivity and quality of motor, by directly inserting a number of coils into core slots under the state coils are wound around a winding frame and bound, and by fixing the coils. CONSTITUTION:A tape fixing spacer 5, winding frames 6, and pushing plates 7 are set on a winding shaft 4 of a winding-frame-rotating type wire winder. The winding frames 6 are so arranged that the directions of their flanges are alternately changed. A coil binding tape 9 is applied on the spacer 5 with the bonding surface upward so that the coil binding tape 9 which also serves as slot insulating paper is positioned in the slots of the winding frame 6. The coil 1 comprising self-bonding wire is wound on the tape. When the coil 1 has been wound, binding tape 10 is applied on the coil 1, and the individual turns of the coil are bound by the tape. The coil and the winding frame 6 are radially deployed and arranged on a winding frame setting jig 11. The settting jig 11 is inverted by a motor 12, and arranged to face a stator core 2 in the axial direction. Then, the coil 1 is inserted into the slots in the core 2 by an air cylinder 16 and the like and fixed. In this method, the productivity and the quality can be improved.
