Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the unnecessary exposure of film surface without hindering the travel of shutter curtain, by mounting the light shield mechanism of preventing the entry of light by selectively pressing the shutter curtain to the film face direction to the neighborhood of film exposure port.
CONSTITUTION: A light shield mechanism is provided near the film exposure port between a mirror support frame 34 and shutter curtain 53. During the time other than during traveling of the curtain 53, this mechanism presses the curtain 53 to film 54 face to prevent the entry of light to the film face through the exposure port. The light shield mechanism is provided with an upper light shield plate 55 extending along the top edge of the exposure port and a lower shield plate 56 extending along the lower edge. The plates 55, 56 are of L-form in section and their perpendicular plate parts 55a, 56a are positioned on the shutter curtain 53 side and their horizontal plate parts are so provided as to respectively position on the upper and lower sides. The unnecessary exposure of the film face is prevented by such light shield plates. It is also possible to narrow the width of the curtain 53 by providing the light shield mechanism.
