Abstract

CONSTITUTION: High-temperature solid heat medium particles, hydrocarbon, and dilute gas are supplied to the upper end of the thermal cracking reactor 1, where the hydrocarbon receives the sensible heat of the high-temperature solid heat medium particles during its falling down at high speed and undergoes thermal cracking in a short time to form ethylene in a high yield. The formed gas, which is needed to prevent overcracking, is jetted from the gas jet outlet 4. At this point, the direction of gas flow is turned(by 45°W135°), and the heat medium particles are separated by means of inertia force and gravity, sent to the heat regenerating apparatus 8 through the chute 7, and then mixed with air and a fuel as needed and burned for regeneation. The regenerated solid heat medium particles are separated from combustion gas by the solid-gas separator 11 and then sent to the solid heat medium particles mixer 12 and recycled.
