Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive sheet having excellent cohesive force at high temperatures by the procedure in which a hot melt stickifier is coated on a plastic film carrying a substance reactive to ionizing radiation and then an ionizing radiation is irradiated onto the plastic film.
CONSTITUTION: A hot melt stickifier containing ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or styrene-butadiene block copolymer as the base polymer is coated on the surface of a plastic film coated or impregnated with a substance reactive to an ionizing radiation in advance, and then an ionizing radiation is irradiated onto the plastic film. Preferred reactive substance used includes trimethylolpropane triacrylate and trimethylolpropane trimethacylate in particular, and particularly preferred plastic film used includes polyethylene and polypropylene.
