Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the unevenness of the compressing characteristic depending on the sample timing of the signals received by addition of the correlation outputs between the values sampled in the delaying elements at an interval of m and the transmitted code with the stages of the sampling cycles and the delaying elements set at m. CONSTITUTION:The signals transmitted from the transmitter are phase-detected on the receiving side to reproduce the transmitted code. The coded pulses X of the received signals thus reproduced are applied to an m-stage tapped analog delay line 11, sampled by clockpulses CP and then, transferred. The contents of the delay line 11 are detected by stages and weighted with a multiplier 12. The weight coefficient to multiply the output of each stage is set equivalent to the time inversion of the transmitted code in the repetition of each bit of the code every m times and the correlation is determined between the values sampled at a interval of m and the transmitted code. Then, one or several correlation outputs are added. For example, the tap outputs at the interval of m are grouped at one set and added with adders 13-1-m every set.
