Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten working time, and to improve the accuracy of finishing, by a mechanism wherein four independent working heads are mounted onto two long sides of a machine base by two each and working in different shapes is assigned to each working head. CONSTITUTION:Four working heads A, B, C, D are installed onto long sides of a machine base 9 every two head. Each head can severally move in the X, Y, Z directions independently, and nose portion units 3 of guides of wire electrodes can rotate centering around the electrodes. A workpiece can be worked extending over the whole surface by partially overlapping movable ranges of the working heads A, B, C, D in the X and Y axis directions. Thus, this working device can be adapted to various working shapes, length of arms 2 can be decreased to approximate half, slack, etc. can be diminished and the accuracy of finishing can be heightened.
