Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the conditions of a river extending over a wide area rapidly and accurately by a method wherein the river is divided every point where a water- level is observed in consideration of a watershed and the conditions of the river are displayed in the classification shapes by coloring in response to the conditions of rainfall.
CONSTITUTION: A river is partitioned into rivers 6-1W6-5, etc. in response to the extent of jurisdiction of points, where at water-levels are observed, as beforehand arranged. The water-levels detected by means of water-level detectors installed at the partitioned rivers are transmitted to a river information processor. The river information processor receives the data, address signals assigning a luminous unit 4 and timing signals assigning timing are put out, and drive signals from a data memory are put out to the luminous unit 4 and a water-level condition annunciator 5 through a controller. Luminous bodies emit light in seven colors by the combination of the drive signals, and the rises and falls of the water-levels are also expressed. Thus, the conditions of the river can be obtained extending over a wide area.
