Abstract
PURPOSE: To contrive to gain a large speed change rate, and to improve the production efficiency, by installing the sender consisting of the free roll and the linear motor, between the shear and the cooling bed.

On purpose to control this thrust force so as to make the speed of the rolled rod 7 to be corresponding to the speed of the final finishing mill 1, the current, frequency, number of poles, etc., to be given to the stator 12, are controlled to values determined according to the relation between the finishing size of the rolled rod 7 and the rolling speed.
