Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a digital watch which can measure the pulsation, blood pressure and body temperature by providing a sound-sensitive sensor, a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor at the electronic wrist watch. CONSTITUTION:When this watch is used as a watch, a control circuit 10 is operated to connect the internal setting switches 16a-16e as designated by solid lines to count time signals by a counter 7c in a frequency divider 2 to thereby display the time on a display unit 9. When it is used as a sphygmometer, the control circuit 10 is operated to connect the internal setting switches 16a-16e as designated by broken lines to detect the pulse sounds by a sound-sensitive sensor 3 mounted at the band of the wrist watch, the number of pulses is counted by a counter 7a at the gate time 6 at every gate pulse from the frequency divider 2 and to convert it into the number of counts per sixty seconds by a converter 7b to thereby display it on the display unit 9. When it is used to measure the blood pressure, the sound-sensitive sensor 3 detects at 10a Korotkov's sounds, and the pressure at 13 is measured by the clamp 12 of the band. When it is used to measure the body temperature, a temperature sensor 15 is used to detect it.
