Then, before loading, lock stopping plate 43 is in a position advanced in the direction opposite to arrow e, so that rewinding button 52, fast- feeding button 53, and the stop button can be operated. After loading, lock stopping plate 43 is advanced in the arrow e direction, so that recording button 50, reproducing button 51, and stop button 54 can be operated. Thus, power consumption of the device can be reduced.
