Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a continuous operation to the final processing stage at a small space, by locating processing lines, whereat plastic resin pipe cut down to a given length after being extrusion- formed is processed, in parallelism with a conveying line and by processing the plastic resin pipe while it is moved in a longitudinal direction and in the direction being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
CONSTITUTION: A plastic resin pipe A extrusion-formed by an extruder 1 is conveyed onto a conveying line 4 after being cut down to a given length by a cutter 2, the pipe A being placed horizontally on a guide gutter 5 after being brought into contact with a stopper 8. Then pushing-up devices 12 and 15 move the pipe A in the direction cutting aforesaid conveying line 4 at right angles and feed it into a No. 1 processing line B whereat at least either one of a beveling process and a line marking is performed on one end of aforesaid plastic resin pipe 1. After the other end is heated at said processing line B, the plastic resin pipe A is fed into a No. 2 processing line C after being displaced in the direction cutting a longitudinal direction at right angles, the end of the pipe so heated being inserted into a sleeve-forming mold 47. The pipe end is pulled out of the mold, whereby a finished product is obtained. This permits a continuous operation to be performed at a small working floor space.
