Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the thickness of a paint uniform, by inclining the liquid paint filming surface of a rotary disc in the opposite direction to a paint receiving part. CONSTITUTION:A disc 8 is rotated by a rotary driver 2. A high voltage is applied to the disc 8 at the opposite polarity to a painted piece. A paint is supplied from a tube 4 into a paint receiving part 8a. The paint flows out of the receiving part 8a onto a liquid paint filming surface 8b due to the centrifugal force of the disc 8. The paint then flows toward a peripheral part 8c due to the centrifugal force F of the disc and is thrusted on the filming surface 8b by the vertical component of the centrifugal force so that the paint is made into a uniform thin film, which has the smallest thickness on the peripheral part 8c. As a result, almost uniform liquid threads are projected toward the painted piece.
