Abstract

Cold air blows into from the inlet port 4, and heightening its heat transfer rate by tube sheet 5. 5' and baffle plate 6, is heat exchanged and is taken out as heated air from outlet port 7. In this constitution, when tube and tube sheet of this shell and tube type ceramic heat exchanger are made of refractory material such as β type cordierite nature or titanic acid aluminum nature, and, if necessary adhered by an inorganic adhesive agent, a ceramic heat exchanger without cleaner is obtained.
