Abstract

PURPOSE: To replace and mount the captioned tires economically in a short time by tentatively fixing tire split pieces in ring form, forming back grooves to the faying portions of the respective pieces, separating these and fitting and tentatively fixing to the outside circumference of the kiln forming front grooves and welding after welding of back grooves.
CONSTITUTION: Two split pieces 2, 2 of the support tire made of steel of the required thickness and width of an inside diameter slightly larger than the outside diameter of a rotary kiln 1 are formed.
