Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure an excellent, uniform, continuous transfer for the whole transferred surface even when there is partial difference in actual transfer width on the surface by providing a specified speed correction system.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer roll 1 is rotatably supported on the tip end of a support frame 3 which can be moved back and forth along a guide 2 by a piston 5 of a hydraulic cylinder 4, one of transferred article a fitted to a rotary jig 6 is faced to the roll 1, and the jig 6 is connected with a hydraulic motor 10 through a rotary shaft 8 and a drive mechanism 7. The cylinder 4 and the motor 10 are driven by oil pressure fed from an oil pressure source 11 through servo valves 12 and 13. The valves 12 and 13 are driven by a pressure control system A consisting of a pressure instruction circuit 14, pressure detector 15, strain amplifier 16, and servo- amplifier 17, or by a speed control system B consisting of a speed instruction circuit 18, speed detector 19, and servo-amplifier 20. The system B is added with a pressure correction system C consisting of a correction controller 21, which generates a speed correction instruction according to the degree of difference in actual transfer width, and a transfer position detector 22 which confirms the progress of transfer.
