Abstract

PURPOSE: Aminoacid lacemases which specifically acts on particular aminoacids are used to analyze quantitatively or qualitatively the particular aminoacids in substances containing a variety of aminoacids.
CONSTITUTION: An aminoacid lacemase specifically acts on a particular aminoacid to convert the L- or D-isomer into D- or L-isomer and an aminoacid oxidase is made to act on the product to oxidize the D or L-isomer. The change in the amount of substance as reduction of oxygen by the oxidation is determined to estimate the amount of the particular aminoacid.
