Abstract

PURPOSE: To print efficiently a screen independently of screen display by scanning pattern memory information to display it on the screen and sending memory information to a printer in the scanning blanking time.
CONSTITUTION: The output obtained by causing respective inversion signals of horizontal blanking signal HBLK and vertical blanking signal VBLK to pass through OR circuit 31 and the signal read from memory 2 are caused to pass through AND circuit 32, and the read signal is not only inputted to memory 34 but also branched to be inputted to address signal memory 34 through address counter 33, and the read signal is written in the memory position designated by this address. This arrangement is independent of arrangement of memory 2. One-line components of a pattern from memory 34 are stored in register 35 and are printed by hard copy 4. Thus, print of the hard copy becomes efficient and rapid because this print has no influence upon scanning of a CRT and is performed in parallel with screen scanning.
