Abstract
PURPOSE: To rotate respective wheels on a same portion of a caterpillar and make a reinforcement of the caterpillar body easier, thereby, prevent wearing thereof by equalizing distances between both of outer side surfaces of rotating wheel portions provided in parallel with respective outer side portions of driving wheels, idling wheels, following wheels and the like.
CONSTITUTION: A driving lug 15 is projectingly provided at an central portion of an inner surface 22 of a caterpillar body 13, around whole periphery of a crawler 11 at proper intervals, and rotating surfaces 21 are provided at both sides of the lug so as to be continuous around the whole periphery of the crawler 11. On the other hand, rotating wheel portions 23, to be rotated on the rotating surfaces 21, are provided in parallel with respective outer side portions of driving wheels, idling wheels, following wheels and the like 3. Respective distances l1 between both of the outer side surfaces of respective rotating wheel portions 23 are equalized into a same dimension. According to this arrangement, the driving, idling, following wheels and the like 3 are rotated on the same positions of the crawler 11 always, therefore, the caterpillar body 13 may be reinforced and wearing thereof may be prevented by increasing the thicknesses of only the rotating surfaces 21 of the caterpillar body 13 or adding some reinforcing materials on the rotating surfaces 21 thereof.
