Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain stable, adequate exposure value without overshoot of iris member, by starting fade-in photography right after stopping down to an aperture value not permitting the image to appear substantially before starting photography.
CONSTITUTION: In order to perform fade-in photography, first a switch SW1 is connected in terminals (a) and (c), a switch SW2 in terminals (d) and (g), and switch SW5 in terminals (h) and (k), then a fade-in setting switch SW3 is turned on. Then, when a main switch SW0 is turned on, an ordinary photographic state is established. Then, by turning off the switch SW3, the outputs of NAND gates NG1, NG2 become 0 and 1 respectively, and an iris member 10 is drived to the closed side at high speed. When stopped down to the aperture value determined by a variable resistor RV2, the output of the comparator COM3 inverts from 1W0, and the signal from a pulse signal generator OSC1 stops, and then the member 10 stops to the state corresponding to the aperture value of 4W5 steps under from the adequate aperture value, then stops. As a result, the member 10 is moved to a proper aperture value at low speed.
