Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Cart 2 is placed opposite to the inlet 3 of coke furnace 1 and beam 4 is advanced to position recovering box 5 fixed on the top of the beam under door frame 12. Thus, coke spilling when the door of the inlet is removed is recovered in recovering box 5. Ssubsequently, the coke in the furnace chamber is pushed out through the guide cart into the extingushing cart. Then, cylinder 6 is operated to make revolving frame 7 rise, thus pushing up horizontal frame 8 until scraper 11 coincides the bottom 3' of the furnace inlet. Further, frame 12 is advanced and scraper 11 is pushed to slide on the bottom of the furnace inlet to put the remaining coke in.
