Abstract
PURPOSE: To use commonly the same account and card as an on-line mode by the off-line mode where the remainder is updated and recorded on a transaction card for every payment and the system where the remainder is updated up to the limit amount of money at a batch processing time.
CONSTITUTION: Contents of card reader 1 are inputted to registers R1WR5. A key number and a desired amount of money for payment are inputted from entry equipment 4 to registers R9 and R10 by keys. The current use data is inputted from date setting equipment 5 to registers R6WR8. The credit line remainder in register R5 and the desired amount of money for payment in register R10 are compared with each other by operation circuit 6, and cash and a slip are ejected from cash ejection machine 7 and a slip ejection machine respectively if the remainder is larger. Recording of the card is updated with the remainder after payment as a new credit line remainder. Transaction data is held in recording machine 10 and is subjected to the batch processing by the central processing unit in future.
