Abstract

PURPOSE: To count the radiant rays incident in the vessel via the incident window regardless of external moisture, by giving a plurality of anode lines between the supports in the sealed vessel and flowing count gas in the vessel together with the application of a high voltage.
CONSTITUTION: The insulation support 23 is present in the sealed vessel 20 and a plurality of anode lines are given. The anode line 1 is connected to the sleeve 4 via the coil spring 37 for respective one end. The bottom plate 21 pvorides the count gas inlet and outlet, it is grounded and high voltage is fed to each anode line 1 via the power feed line 34. With this constitution, the high voltage part is always kept dry count gas, then no affect of moisture at external atmosphere is subjected. Further, since the coil spring is used, the tension of the anode line is kept constant to enable stable radiant ray count.
