Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the iron loss and to improve the efficiency of putting the wedge into the slot by making the wedge such that hard synthetic resin film is stuck on a sheet of foam resin that contains soft magnetic material powder.
CONSTITUTION: Hard synthetic resin film 6C such as polyester film is sticked on a sheet 6B of foam resin that contains soft magnetic material powder such as iron powder to form the foam resin wedge 6D. The wedge is put in the half closed slot 2B of the stator 2, heated to expand the foam resin, and is deformed and cured in the state such that the insulator 4 is pressed. In this way, the iron loss can be reduced since a magnetic path is formed in the opening of the stator slot, and the efficiency of putting the wedge into the slot can be improved since a hard film is used.
