Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible the switch for photo exchanging of good performance by moving respectively a plurality of optical fibers on the transmission side and reception side in the orthognal guide parts. CONSTITUTION:Two blocks 2, 3 which are parallel formed with plural guide parts 1 using oblong holes or grooves are provided. Said both blocks 2, 3 are so disposed that the lengthwise directions of their guide parts 1 intersect orthogonally. The guide parts 1 are inserted with respectively each one of optical fibers 4-1-4-n, 5-1- 5-n which are then so aligned that their end faces become paralle with the opposing faces of the both blocks 2, 3. Further the respective optical fibers 4-1-4-n, 5-1- 5-n are made movable in parallel with the opposing fades of the both blocks 2, 3 by the driving devices respectively attached thereto so that it is made possible to simultaneously perform the connection of plural sets of the optical fibers 4-1-4-n and 5-1-5-n.
