Abstract
PURPOSE: To press a magnetic head part all the time by fixed pressure through single pressure adjusting operation, by pressing both a base body with the magnetic head part and a rod arm pivoted on the base body over adjustments.
CONSTITUTION: This mechanism consists of base body 2 provided with magnetic head 1 coming in slide contact with a flexible magnetic disk, and head rod arm 8 with its weight part pivoted on axis 4 of base body 2 and the other end part pressing the magnetic disk agianst magnetic head 1. Head rod arm 8, having spring 4 at axis 4 by load adjustment 7, is enabled to adjust the pushing activation force of the spring. To improbe contactness with the magnetic disk mounted on magnetic head 1, pad 8a made of a polymer material is fitted to one end part of arm 8. At the point in time when load adjustment piece 7 is slid and the pushing force of arm 8 against the magnetic disk reaches a fixed value, adjustment piece 7 is fixed by screw 7a, so taht however the mounting state changes, the magnetic head can be pushed by invariably-fixed pressure.
