Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a low-toxic anti-tumor agent containing a specific phenothiazine derivative as an effective component.
CONSTITUTION: An agent containing a phenothiazine derivative of formula (X is Cl or Br; n is 4 or 5) as an effective component. The compound has high anti- tumor activity and low toxicity and transquilizing effect in contrast with the well known sedative chlorpromazine of formula (X is Cl and n is 3) which has weak anti-tumor activity and strong toxicity.
