Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small, inexpensive and high precise detector by detecting the change of radius of curvature of an arc-shaped elastic body the radius of curvature of which is changed by tension applied to the rope. CONSTITUTION:An arc-shaped leaf spring 25 is coupled with the casing 12 swingably through the part 26 and is linked to the wire rope 5. One end of the link 32 is fixed to the part 26 with a bolt 27 and a nut 28 and the other end is rotatably supported by the axis 32a. Also one end of another link 33 is connected to the spring 25 with a bolt 30 and a nut 31 and the other end is rotatably supported by the axis 33a. The base plate 34 is provided with a differential transformer 35 through the metal fitting 36, transformer is operated by the movement of rod 37 caused by both the links 32, 33. The circuit is cut off and the warning device is actuated by a signal from the transformer in the case of overload.
