Abstract
PURPOSE: To surely prevent corrosion of ferrite surfaces in glass fusion bonding by dissolving a compsn. based on the same component as ferrite to be fusion-bonded in a glass compsn. for fusion bonding.
CONSTITUTION: A ferrite compsn. based on the same component as ferrite moldings to be fusion-bonded is dissolved in a glass compsn. for fusion bonding in an amt. of 5wt% or more to about saturation. Thus, a superior glass-fusion-bonded body of ferrite moldings is obtd. without occurrence of a spike, etc. on the ferrite surfaces in fusion bonding. By appliying this method the performance of a magnetic head or the like is enhanced and stabilized.
