Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a word discrimination power for a person who has difficulty in hearing, by adding ultrasonic vibration to vibration corresponding to sound signals. CONSTITUTION:Sound signals detected by micro phone 1 are amplified by amplifier 2, and the output drives sound transmitter 3, and vibration corresponding to input acoustic waves is generated and is transferred to the hearing equipment of a person who has difficulty in hearing. Meanwhile, ultrasonic oscillator 4 outputs ultrasonic signals of, for example, several 10KHz, and ultrasonic converter 5 receives the output to transfer ultrasonic vibration to him. Otherwise, sound transmitter 3 and coverter 5 may be constituted into one body 6 to give sound vibration as well as ultrasonic vibration from one common vibration giving face. As a result, word discrimination power can be improved.
