Abstract

PURPOSE: To switch internal synchronizing signals and external synchronizing signals automatically by providing a circuit, which generates external synchronizing signals and internal synchronizing signals, in a TV camera and providing a circuit which detects these signals and a switch circuit which switches output synchronizing signals according to presence or absence of control signals.
CONSTITUTION: When no control signals are outputted from control signal detection circuit 3 and are inputted to switch circuit 5, output signals of internal synchronizing signal generation circuit 4 pass through circuit 5, and internal synchronizing signals are outputted from output terminal 6. Next, when external synchronizing connection signals are inputted to external synchronizing connection input terminal 1, external synchronizing signal generator 2 is operated to output external synchronizing signals. Meanwhile, control signal detection circuit 3 detects horizontal synchronizing signals included in external synchronizing connection signals and outputs control signals. Consequently, circuit 5 is switched by the input of control signals, and synchronizing signals are outputted from circuit 2. Therefore, these external synchronizing signals are outputted from terminal 6. Thus, internal and external synchronizing signals are switched automatically.
