Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easy the freeze photographing operation using a self-timer by storing the presence or absence of the freeze signal and controlling a photometric value storage memory according to the presence or absence signal.
CONSTITUTION: When a freeze switch is operated, a freeze signal is generated from a freeze signal circuit 14 and "freeze presence" is stored in a memory means 11. When a selftimer is set and a shutter release button is pushed, the storage content of the freeze signal presence of the means 11 is read out according to the release signal and a switch means 2 is turned OFF by way of a gate 10, thus the content of a photometric value storage memory 3 is fixed at the provious main subject photometric value. Hence, at the freeze photographing by the self-timer of a changed camera angle, exposure is controlled according to the previous photometric value evne if the mirror is kicked up by way or a delay circuit 21 and release control circuit 22 after the preset timer time. As a result of this, the freeze photographing using the self-timer may be accomplished by the simple operation of changing the camera angle by operating the release switch after the photometry.
