Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit cleaning of a conveyor in a short period of time and also automatically by movably coupling a suction board member, which is provided at the top with a suction tube and has a brush projecting from the periphery of its underside, via a permanent magnet to a base tube provided with windows and steel lids.
CONSTITUTION: To a base tube 1 provided with windows 1a and steel lids at a regular interval is coupled via a permanent magnet a suction board member 2 which is provided at the top with a suction tube 2a and has a brush 2b projecting from the periphery of its underside. The rotation of the suction board member 2 as well as simultaneous translational movement thereof together with the permanent magnet 3 are caused by driving the motor 4. As the suction tube 2a comes to each of the windows 1a, the associated lid 1b is downwardly forced by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 3 to open the window 1a. As a result, dust on rollers 6 is taken out and withdrawn with the frictional contact of the brush 2b and sucking force provided by a pump 5. In this way, the conveyor can be cleaned automatically and in a short period of time.
