Since the magnetic flux in the core 1 is almost constant in the core 1, output voltage of the tertiary winding 4 varies according to the area which the wire 14 covers in the gap 1a and 1b. The covered area can be changed in any size, so that output voltage of the tertiary winding 4 can also be changed continuously. Thus, in any fly-back transformer, it is possible to obtain the desired voltage.
