PURPOSE: To provide a resin-coated metal pipe with a high adhesivity by a successive pressure welding of a metal pipe with a high speed fluid after covered with a thermoplastic resin.
CONSTITUTION: A metal pipe is covered with a melted thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyethylene terephthalic resin) and is successively welded together under pressure from one end to the other by injecting a high speed fluid (e.g. compressed air) on the surface thereof. Thus a resin-coated metal pipe is obtained. This ensures a coating having a high adhesivity although the surface even when the metal is a polygon such as square in the cross section.
