Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase rust proof effect and stability of a coating on a single sheet etc. for coil iron core, by addn. of a specific amounts of water, sodium nitrite, tributylamine, and triethylamine to ethanol or methanol. CONSTITUTION:To 100 parts ethyl alcohol or methyl alcohol are added 0.5-3 parts water, 0.2-0.6 part sodium nutrite, 0.7-1.5 part tributylamine, and 0.1-0.5 part triethylamine. The rust proof coating medium is used for coil iron core single plate, the rop end etc. of sheet or round bar of German silver or copper. The coating medium is applied on these materials by spray method or immersion method to form rust proof coating. The rust proof coating medium is colorless, transparent, and stable, and no change in the rust proof effect is caused with age.
