Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a low-cost repeating transmission system for the TV signals which features a high using efficiency of the microwave band channel along with the improved transmission characteristics. CONSTITUTION:Compounding unit 4 delivers the 1st and 2nd TV signals the frequencies of which are divided and multiplied at the intermediate frequency, and these TV signals are supplied to converter 5 and then converted into the signals of the 3rd channel of the microwave band to be transmitted through antenna 6. The transmitted signals are supplied to converter 8 through antenna 7 to be converted into the TV signals of intermediated frequency, and the output of converter 8 is supplied to distributor 9. Distributor 9 applies the same two output to BPF10a and 10b each, which select and deliver the 1st and 2nd TV signals of the intermediate frequency each. These TV signals are supplied to FM demodulators 11a and 11b respectively to obtain the TV signals of the standard system. Then demodulator 11a delivers video signal carrier wave fA1 and aural signal carrier wave fV1; and demodulator 11b delivers video signal carrier wave fA2 and aural signal carrier wave fV2 respectively.
