A control counter 5 inputs a clock B to the up terminal U or the down terminal D, when the value C of the counter 3 is set by a clock A, depending on whether the content of the counter 3 is positive or negative. When set numbers are counted, a signal G is sent out. Flip-flop 7 is set by the clock B and also by the signal G, and its output is applied to a servomotor 1. The rotating direction of the servomotor 1 is controlled depending on whether the content of the counter 3 is positive or negative.
