Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate selection of cooking method and also to enable the cooking to be achieved even by an amateur, by making it possible for an image output of an image reproducing device, in which materials of cooking and cooking procedures are recorded, to be indicated on a means of indication by operating a keyboard for selecting items of cooking.

CONSTITUTION: After making an indication of an image, as shown in the sketch, onto an indication section 4 of a cooking adviser 1 by turning on a power source, when a keyboard 5's number key '1' is kept pressed and 'Transmission' key is pressed, an adviser 1 enters cooking items section mode indicating on the indication section 4 kinds of foods recommendable to people in consideration of physical condition, working condition and the seasons, etc. in turn and in a dialogue form so that people could select the most appropriate food. Once a food (or cooking) has been selected and shen an image of 'Would you like to take a look at the cooking pro- cedure?' has been indicated, if 'Yes' key was pressed, the indication section becomes in a position to indicate an image signal from the image reproducing device. Now, the cooking is to be executed by looking at the cooking procedure indicated on the indication section 4.
