Abstract

PURPOSE: A factor antibody for identifying pathogenetic Candida is brought into contact with yeast and they are classified by the coagulation reaction occurring.
CONSTITUTION: Antisera are prepared using molds described in column A of the table as antigens and the resulting antigens are made to absorb in the molds described in column B to form said factor antibodies. The resulting antibodies are brought into contact with yeast and the yeast is classified into 10 groups from A to J in the table by the results if coagulation occurs or not. Mark + shows that coagulation has occurred whereas - means no coagulation. Yeast is brought into contact with 5 kinds of factor antibodies according to the table and it is classified readily by the results of coagulation.
