Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a recording material, by which a print with high contrast and with durability can be formed, by using coloring ink together with developer that consists of two sorts of polyhydroxy aromatic compounds with a specific constitutional formula. CONSTITUTION:A coloring ink, which contains compounds of Fe, V, W and Mo, and a developer, which colors by making itself react on said coloring ink and is shown by the constitutional formula I, are applied to the base material to obtain a recording material, and a compound shown by the constitutional formula II is used as another developer together with said two compounds. Formula I. R1, R2: H, -OH, alkyl group, acyl group, aryl group, -COOX(X: H, alkyl group, aryl group) R3: -(CH2)n-; n=1-16, phenylene group, benzyl group Formula II. R6: H, -OH, alkyl group, acyl group. In this way, a recording material by which a print with high contrast and durability is formed can be obtained. The compound shown by Formula I of 10 units and the one shown by Formula II of 2-20 units are desirably used together with each other.
