Abstract
PURPOSE:To contemplate an improvement in thermal efficiency and the rationalization of production line by forming a bare wire material into a corrugated filament, cutting the wire in a given length, heat-treating the wire and coating the wire with a resin by using the waste heat of the heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A bare wire material 5 is formed into a corrugated wire 6 by means of a wire forming machine 3. The corrugated wire 6 is cut in a given length by menas of a cutting machine 7. The resulting corrugated wires 6 are supplied to a heating furnace 8 by a conveyer 13. Synthetic resin powders are coated to the corrugated wires leaving the heating furnace 8 by means of spray guns 12. The resulting coated wires are cooled, bundled and packed. Forming is accurately conducted at high speed and at the same time thermal efficiency is greatly improved, because the resin coating treatment can be carried out by using the waste heat of the heat treatment.
